George Mason University Foundation is a proud Silver Sponsor of the upcoming Hylton Performing Arts Center 12th Anniversary Gala honoring two Mason alumni, Lovey Hammel and Denise McPhail.
Funds from the gala support the Hylton Center’s many artistic performances and outreach initiatives. The Education Initiative, Veterans and the Arts Initiative, and the Center’s Endowment ensure artistic excellence in performances and programs. The Hylton Center, which opened its doors in 2010, is an example of a thriving community partnership. Created in collaboration with Prince William County, the City of Manassas, George Mason University, and the Commonwealth of Virginia, along with many generous private donors and local business community members, the Hylton Center is a unique “creative commons” that has inspired local community members to express their voices by participating as artists, audiences, and lifelong learners. The Foundation’s financial support to the Hylton Center makes first-class performing arts activities worldwide and around the corner possible.
George Mason University Foundation proudly supports the Hylton Center, its creative educational programs, and brilliant performances that enrich our campus and community. “The George Mason University Foundation is overjoyed to be a sponsor of the Hylton Center Gala,” said George Mason University Foundation Board of Trustees Vice Chair Mike Stievater. The Hylton Center does amazing work to advance the arts at Mason and within the local community, and the foundation is excited to support that great work.”
