Delivering on Our Promise

The Mason Virginia Promise (MVP) empowers Virginians with an affordable, seamless route to a George Mason bachelor’s degree or to entrepreneurship through expanded partnerships, scholarships, and hands-on support. A key component of MVP is the ADVANCE program, a nationally recognized transfer partnership with community colleges in the Commonwealth that has improved enrollment, retention, and graduation rates. With MVP, George Mason is delivering on its promise to be a key economic driver in the Commonwealth.

Improving collaboration between two- and four-year institutions is one of the most powerful levers available to improve college completion and enhance social and economic mobility.
