Mason rector took an unconventional path to success

In August, 2022, the George Mason University Board of Visitors elected as its new rector Horace Blackman, senior vice president and lead of IT consulting company CGI Federal’s Defense, Intelligence and Space business unit. Blackman brings to his role a wealth of business experience – and a dual undergraduate degree from Mason.
